Welcome to the Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange Palermo!

Experience the thrill of conversing with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour sessions. Attending just two times a week for two hours will give you the opportunity to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.

Learning Spanish fluency takes time, but with Spanglish, you won't even want a shortcut! Our events kick off with a 30-minute check-in where you'll get to know other Spanglishers. Approximately half of our attendees are new, so you'll always have the chance to meet new people. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes - your conversation partner is in the same boat as you! You'll converse for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning!

At Spanglish, there are no set topics for conversation. You can talk about anything you want, whether it's your favorite superheroes or restaurants. It's the perfect way to practice another language - in a relaxed environment, discussing topics you're familiar with and passionate about!

Simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time, and you will find a Spanglish Staff member who will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

During our two-hour sessions, you'll be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations. Our events start with a 40-minute check-in, where you'll get to know other Spanglishers. Approximately half of our attendees are new, so you'll always have the chance to make new friends. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a group for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes - everyone is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes conversing in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning.
