Are you looking to improve your language skills while having fun? Join us at Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange Palermo! Every Thursday, starting from August 10, 2023, at 7:00 PM, you'll have the opportunity to engage in 10-minute conversations with native speakers. By attending just two sessions a week, for two hours each, you'll have the chance to practice with a large number of native speakers and enhance your fluency in Spanish.

Spanglish is not your typical language learning experience. It starts with a 30-minute check-in where you can get to know other participants, many of whom are attending for the first time. Don't worry about making mistakes because your conversation partners are in the same boat. You'll spend 5 minutes chatting in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. It's a relaxed and enjoyable environment where you'll be having so much fun that you won't even realize you're learning.

At Spanglish, there are no set topics. You can talk about anything you want, from your favorite superheroes to your favorite restaurants. It's all about practicing another language in a comfortable and friendly setting.

Who attends Spanglish? Study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone who wants a flexible, affordable, and comfortable place to practice their conversation skills.

The cost of attending the event is AR$2000. However, you can also opt for the Spanglish package, which includes four events for AR$7100. Additionally, if you prefer virtual language exchange events, you can enjoy them for free.

►HOW TO BE PART?
To join Spanglish, simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time and look for our Spanglish Staff. They will register you and guide you through the event.

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get paired with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during every two-hour session. Attending as little as two times a week, for 2 hours at a time, you’ll meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.
There is no shortcut to Spanish fluency - but Spanglish is so fun you won’t want one! Spanglish starts during the 40-minute check-in: Get to know the other Spanglishers – about half of the attendees at every event are new! After a little bit of ice-breaking, you’ll head to an assigned table for your first conversation. No need to worry about making mistakes – the person sitting across from you is in the same boat! You converse for 5 minutes in English, 5 in Spanish – and then move on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, we promise you’ll be having so much fun you’ll forget you’re learning.
