Turkish breakfast plays an important role in Turkish culture.

In Turkey, the breakfast is very rich and generally contains the following ingredients:

thick syrup of grape juice

all kinds of jam

meat

vegetables and fruits

omelet

french fries

yogurt (a cultural Turkish food whic made is from milk)

eggs scrambled with tomatoes and green pepper

egg and a lot of special Turkish meals made of eggs

In each region, breakfast contains specific foods related to the culture.
