Language/Standard-arabic/Pronunciation/Alphabet-and-Pronunciation
hello Everyone ..... I'm gonna talk about letters and how you spell them In Arabic ........
so let's start
in Arabic we have Letters like ( ا ب ت ث ج ح ....) these letters have pronunciation and then we have this small Symbols ( َ - ُ - ِ ) ( ً - ٌ - ٍ ) ( ّ ) ( ْ) when we add this Symbols to Letter it will have other pronunciation ...... well not very different but it will look like we say the letter with a second letter or more ....
so I'll give Examples and see
maybe we start with only the first three symbols
( َ ) ( ُ ) ( ِ )
the first one called in Arabic ( Fatha ) and it means you should open mouth when say the Letter
the second one called ( Damma ) and it means you should round your mouth like when you say ( o )
the third called (Kasra ) and it means you should make your mouth like when you say (E ) so
let's have Examples
if we want to say the letter in Arabic ( ب ) let's add that Fatha to it ( بَ ) after adding it ...... its pronunciation becomes ( Ba ) not long a just short one
if we want to say the letter in Arabic ( ب ) let's add that Damma to it ( بُ ) after adding it ...... its pronunciation becomes ( Bo ) not long o just short one
if we want to say the letter in Arabic ( ب ) let's add that Kasra to it ( بِ ) after adding it ...... its pronunciation becomes ( Be ) not long e just short one
so the table can help with other letters
