Beside '¡Hola!,¿Cómo estás?'  ( only expression you rememember from Spanish class, because of course ;) you might already know there  is a lot of polysemy (plenty of expressions  and words to describe the same thing) Why? -Ligar : to flirt or succeed in dating. When someone is called "Ligón" he or she is dating evereyone around ...or at least tries.
