When describing pain, we use different words to describe the level of intensity. Here are some words:

Example dialogue:
- ප්වර්ක්සන් දෙකක්: ඔබ දැනට සියලූම වර්තම් පරිපාලනයකට එකතු වන්නේ නම්, මම ඔබට බයවෙන්නේ නෑ. ('pwarcksan dekak: oba dannata sihluwum wartham pirapalanayak ekathu wan nethu nam, mama obata bayawenna naha. ') (If you are experiencing any excruciating pain, then I should not treat you.)
- ප්රියාකාරී: මාස ඇටිති දා හොදම පරිමිතාවක් තියෙනවා. ('priyakari: mas ate-ti da hodama parimitawak thiyenneva') (I had a mild muscle pain for few days.)
