This lesson must be edited: add examples of sentences in French

There are many meanings to the word "CORRECTION" in French.

  1. The correction for errors or mistakes in a sentence.
  • Mon texte a besoin d'une correction. My text need a correction
  1. The correction of a person or child.

In this case it means that we are dealing with a courteous, polite person.

  • Cette personne manque de correction. This person is not polite.

Quality of respectful personne.

  1. Maison de correction = Jailhouse, in the sens of punishment.
  2. For eyes, in oculist who rectifies the vision, the sight..
  3. In sens of punishment :

He committed a stupidity, he took a correction
