Les pronoms personnels (the personal pronouns)
In french, we have 8 personal pronouns, they are:
- Je (first singular pronoun) = I
- Tu (second singular pronoun) = You
- Il (third singular pronoun/ Male) = He
- Elle (third singular pronoun/ Female) = She
- Nous (first plural pronoun) = We
- Vous (second plural pronoun) = You (<-- used to speak with a group of people or to show respect to somebody)
- Ils (third plural pronoun/ Male) = They
- Elles (third plural pronoun/ Female) = They
