If you are in a Spanish-speaking country, asking for directions could be a challenge if you don't know the language. In this lesson, you will learn some basic Spanish phrases and vocabulary to ask for and give directions.
Basic Phrases
Here are some basic phrases that you might need when you are walking around town and need to ask for directions:
- ¿Dónde está...? - Where is...?
- ¿Cómo llego a...? - How do I get to...?
- ¿Hay un banco / restaurante / parque cerca de aquí? - Is there a bank / restaurant / park near here?
- ¿Puede decirme cómo llegar a...? - Can you tell me how to get to...?
- A la derecha - To the right
- A la izquierda - To the left
