In this lesson, we will be exploring the basic business terminology in Amharic. Whether you are an entrepreneur, a job seeker or working in a business environment, this lesson will give you the necessary vocabulary to understand and communicate in Amharic. As an Amharic language teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, I will be adding cultural information and interesting facts about Ethiopia to make this lesson not just informative but engaging as well.

Finance

Here are some of the basic finance terms that you should be aware of in the context of business and commerce:

  • Ethiopian banks usually open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, from Monday to Saturday. Banks are closed on Sundays.
