| Verbs that end in –ίζω,
are written in "i" (yota). This spelling is maintained at all tenses and all types of the verb.To see if a verb belongs to this rule, we put in front of the verb the words: εγώ τώρα: me now .. So we find the present tense when we “hear” the ending: ίζω. Eg : A.Εγώ (τώρα) σκουπίζω το σπίτι: I'm sweeping the house B. Εσύ έχεις καθαρίσει τις πατάτες (εγώ τώρα καθαρίζω τις πατάτες). You have (now) peeled potatoes: I'm doing it now. |
Les verbes qui se terminent par –ίζω,
s'écrivent en "i" (yota). Cet orthographe est maintenu à tous les temps et tous les types du verbe. Pour voir si un verbe appartient à cette règle, on met devant le verbe les mots : εγώ τώρα : moi maintenant.. Ainsi nous trouvons le présent lorsque nous «entendons» la terminaison :ίζω. Par ex : A.Εγώ (τώρα ) σκουπίζω το σπίτι : Je suis entrain de balayer la maison B. Εσύ έχεις καθαρίσει τις πατάτες (εγώ τώρα καθαρίζω τις πατάτες). Tu as (maintenant) épluché des pommes de terre : Je le fais maintenant. |
Τα ρήματα που τελειώνουν σε –ίζω γράφονται
με «ι» (γιώτα). Η ορθογραφία τους διατηρείται σε όλους τους χρόνους και τύπους του ρήματος. Για να δούμε αν ένα ρήμα ανήκει σε αυτόν τον κανόνα, βάζουμε μπροστά στο ρήμα: εγώ τώρα και βρίσκουμε τον ενεστώτα όταν «ακούσουμε» την κατάληξη –ίζω π.χ. Α. Εγώ (τώρα ) σκουπίζω το σπίτι. Β. Εσύ έχεις καθαρίσει τις πατάτες (εγώ τώρα καθαρίζω τις πατάτες). |
| The rule also applies to the passive voice.
We check how the verb is in the active voice and if it ends in –ίζω: izw, we put the "ι" (yota). In addition, the "ι" (yota) is preserved in all words derived from the verb. Eg. : A.Η μαμά χτενίστηκε στο κομμωτήριο (χτενίστηκε: παθητική φωνή) Mom combed her hair at the hairdresser (χτενίστηκε: passive voice: now χτενίζομαι) Ενεργητική φωνή: χτενίζω. B. Mom combed (χτενίζω) her hair. B. (Active voice: combing). |
La règle s'applique également à la voix passive.
Nous vérifions comment le verbe est à la voix active et s'il se termine en –ίζω : izw, nous mettons le «ι» (yota). De plus, le «ι» (yota) est conservé dans tous les mots dérivés du verbe. Par ex. : A.Η μαμά χτενίστηκε στο κομμωτήριο (χτενίστηκε : παθητική φωνή) Maman s’est peigné au coiffeur ((χτενίστηκε :voix passive: maintenant χτενίζομαι) Ενεργητική φωνή: χτενίζω. B .Maman a peigné (χτενίζω) ses cheveux. (Voix active: peigner). |
Ο κανόνας ισχύει και για την
παθητική φωνή. Ελέγχουμε πώς είναι το ρήμα στην ενεργητική φωνή και αν τελειώνει σε –ίζω βάζουμε «ι» (γιώτα). Επίσης, το «ι» (γιώτα) διατηρείται σε όλες τις λέξεις που προέρχονται από το ρήμα. Π.χ. Η μαμά χτενίστηκε στο κομμωτήριο : παθητική φωνή: εγώ τώρα χτενίζομαι. Ενεργητική φωνή: χτενίζω. |
