Rules

Giving your opinion in Serbian is quite simple. To express your opinion, you can use the verb misliti (to think) or smatrati (to consider).

The conjugation of the verb misliti is as follows:

Serbian	Pronunciation	English Translation
Ja mislim	Ya meesleem	I think
Ti misliš	Tee meeslesh	You think
On/ona/ono misli	On/ona/ono meeslee	He/she/it thinks
Mi mislimo	Mee meeslee-moh	We think
Vi mislite	Vee meeslee-teh	You (plural) think
Oni/one misle	Oni/one meeslee	They think

The conjugation of the verb smatrati is as follows:

Serbian	Pronunciation	English Translation
Ja smatram	Ya sma-traam	I consider
Ti smatraš	Tee sma-trash	You consider
On/ona/ono smatra	On/ona/ono sma-tra	He/she/it considers
Mi smatramo	Mee sma-tra-moh	We consider
Vi smatrate	Vee sma-tra-teh	You (plural) consider
Oni/one smatraju	Oni/one sma-tra-yoo	They consider

To make a negative opinion, you can add the word ne (no) before the verb. For example: Ja ne mislim da je to dobro (I don't think that is good).

Here are some examples of how to give your opinion in Serbian:
