The verb "be" is used to describe a state or condition. In Marathi, it is conjugated differently depending on the subject of the sentence. The verb "be" is conjugated as follows:

तू आहे | tū āhē | You are |
त्याच आहे | tyāc āhē | He/She/It is |
आम्ही आहोत | āmhī āhot | We are |

Let's look at some examples of how to use the verb "be" in Marathi sentences:
- Person 1: आहे का? (āhē kā?) (What's up?)
- Person 2: मी ठीक आहे. (mī ṭhīk āhē.) (I'm fine.)
- Person 1: तू कुठे आहे? (tū kuṭhē āhē?) (Where are you?)
- Person 2: मी घरी आहे. (mī gharrī āhē.) (I'm at home.)
You can also use the verb "be" to describe a location or situation. For example:
- मी आज काही विद्यालयात आहे. (mī āj kāhī vidyālayāt āhē.) (I'm at school today.)
- त्याच आज काही कामात आहे. (tyāc āj kāhī kāmāt āhē.) (He/She/It is working today.)
