In today's lesson, we will be discussing adjectives in the Borana-Arsi-Guji Oromo language. Adjectives are words that describe or modify nouns and pronouns. They can be used to give more information about a person, place, thing, or idea.

Formation of Adjectives

Adjectives in Borana-Arsi-Guji Oromo are formed by adding suffixes to nouns and verbs. The suffixes used depend on the gender and number of the noun being modified.

Masculine Singular

For masculine singular nouns, the suffix -aa is added to the end of the noun. For example, the word for "man" is guddaa, and the word for "good man" is guddaasaa.

Feminine Singular
