Kabyle Grammar - Future Tense

Hi Kabyle learners! 😊
In this lesson, we will learn about the future tense in Kabyle. The future tense is used to talk about events that will happen in the future. It is important to understand how to use the future tense correctly in order to communicate effectively in Kabyle.

Forming the Future Tense

The future tense in Kabyle is formed by adding the suffix -a to the verb stem. This suffix is added to the verb stem regardless of the person or number. For example, the verb "to write" is "asekkil" in Kabyle. To form the future tense, the suffix -a is added to the verb stem, resulting in "asekkila".
