To ask for directions, you can say:

To give directions, you can say:
- Go straight - Adto pa gyud unya sa direksyon nga imong apilanan. - Turn left/right - Likay sa kaliwa/kanan. - It's on the left/right - Anaa sa kaliwa/kanan. - It's near - Duol ra kaayo.

- Excuse me, where is the hospital? - Patawad, diin ang ospital? - Go straight and turn left at the corner. The hospital is on the right. - Adto pa gyud unya sa diretso unya likay sa kaliwa didto sa kanto. Anaa ang ospital sa kanan. - Can you tell me how to get to the market? - Mahibawo ka ba unsaon pag-abot sa merkado? - Go straight and turn right at the plaza. The market is on the left. - Adto pa gyud unya sa diretso unya likay sa kanan didto sa plaza. Anaa ang merkado sa kaliwa.
Remember to always use polite expressions when asking for and giving directions, such as saying "patawad" (excuse me) and "salamat" (thank you).
Practice
Now it's time to practice constructing sentences with directions in Cebuano. Here are some exercises for you to complete:

- Answer: Anaa ang munisipyo sa tunga sa dakbayan.
