Northern Uzbek Grammar - How to Use "Have"

In this lesson, we will learn how to use the verb "have" in Northern Uzbek. We will look at the different forms of the verb and how to use it in sentences.

Introduction

The verb "have" is an important verb in Northern Uzbek. It is used to express possession, relationships, and other ideas. In this lesson, we will look at the different forms of the verb and how to use it in sentences.

Forms of the Verb "Have"

The verb "have" has two forms in Northern Uzbek:

  • yashir (яшир) - present tense
  • yashirmoq (яширмоқ) - past tense

The present tense is used to express possession or relationships in the present. For example:

  • Men yashiram (Мен яширам) - I have
  • U yashir (У яшир) - He/she has

The past tense is used to express possession or relationships in the past. For example:

  • Men yashirmoqdim (Мен яширмоқдим) - I had
