== Greek Adverbs ==
Adverbs are indeclinable words which can modify a verb, an adjective, another adverb or even a whole sentence. They indicate place, time, manner, etc. Learning the Greek Adverbs displayed below is vital to the language. Greek adverbs are part of speech. Generally they're words that modify any part of language other than a noun. Adverbs can modify verbs, adjectives (including numbers), clauses, sentences and other adverbs.

== What are adverbs used for? ==
The adverb is an invariable word that specifies or changes the meaning of a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. The adverb specifies the circumstances of place, time or manner in which the action presented by the verb takes place. Adverbs indicate the degree of a quality or defect and they give information about what the speaker thinks.


They indicate place, time, manner, etc. 
An adverb can be:

L'adverbe est un mot invariable qui précise ou change le sens d'un verbe, d'un adjectif, ou d'un autre adverbe.
 
L’ adverbe  précise  les circonstances de lieu, de temps ou de manière dans lesquelles se déroule l'action présentée par le verbe.
 
Les adverbes indiquent le degré d'une qualité ou d'un défaut et ils donnent des informations sur ce que pense celui qui parle.

== Επιρρήματα ( les adverbes ). ==
Επιρρήματα είναι μια μεγάλη κατηγορία άκλιτων λέξεων, αρκετά ετερόκλητων ως προς τη μορφή, τη λειτουργία και την προέλευσή τους.
 
Mερικές φορές συμπλέκονται με τα υπόλοιπα άκλιτα μέρη του λόγου όπως :  τις προθέσεις, τα μόρια, τις αρνήσεις, τους συνδέσμους,
 
σε βαθμό δε  που είναι δύσκολο να τα οριοθετήσουμε αυστηρά. Ο όρος επίρρημα μπορεί κατ’ αρχήν να θεωρηθεί ομπρέλα για τις περισσότερες
 
από τις άκλιτες λέξεις,  χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι δεν υπάρχουν αναγνωρίσιμα, αρχετυπικά επιρρήματα με μια στενότερη έννοια (π.χ. δικαίως).
 
Η ρευστότητα αυτή στην περιοχή των άκλιτων λέξεων και η δυσκολία της αυστηρής οριοθέτησης, όπως και η συνακόλουθη ορολογική σύγχυση,                        που ανάγεται στους πρώτους γραμματικούς της αρχαιότητας και παρατηρείται μέχρι σήμερα, οφείλεται κυρίως στην πολυπροσωπία των στοιχείων αυτών,
 
καθώς  και στην πολλαπλότητα των λειτουργιών τους. Με επιρρήματα μπορούμε να περιγράψουμε πολλές διαφορετικές ιδιότητες της πράξης που δηλώνει το ρήμα. Βλέπουμε λοιπόν ότι τα επιρρήματα συμπληρώνουν και βοηθούν στο να έχουμε μια καλύτερη εικόνα του τι έγινε.
 
Έτσι έχουμε διαφορετικές ομάδες επιρρημάτων .
