Demonstrative Pronouns - Δεικτικές αντωνυμίες

The demonstrative pronouns are used to indicate which entity the speaker refers to and agree in gender, number and case with the noun they refer to.

The demonstrative pronouns are used to indicate which entity the speaker refers to. The most common demonstrative pronouns are :

1 Sin. : Αυτός, αυτή, αυτό : this / celui- celle - ce (c’) ceci

Plur :αυτοί (m), αυτές (f), αυτά (n) : These


En : We use them to show what's near we

Fr : Nous les utilisons pour montrer ce qui est près de nous

Eg : αυτά τα παιδιά : these children

-         αυτός ο κύριος : this gentleman

2 Sin. :(Ε)τούτος, (ε)τούτη, (ε)τούτο : that / ce, cette

Plur. : (ε)τούτοι, (ε)τούτες, (ε)τούτα : this / ces, cette


En . : Our uses to indicate that it is very close to us

Fr. : Nous les utilisons pour indiquer ce qui est très proche de nous

Eg : Μου αρέσει ετούτο το φουλάρι: I like that scarf
