  • Negyed - Quarter (as in quarter past or quarter to)

In Hungarian, the hour is typically shown in a 24-hour format. For example:

  • 1:00 is "egy óra"
  • 2:30 is "fél három"
  • 5:15 is "negyed hat"
  • 10:45 is "háromnegyed tizenegy"

It's also common to use "de" (but) to indicate "to" the next hour. For example:
