Hi Abkhazian learners! 😊
In this lesson, we will learn how to use the verb "be" in Abkhazian. We will look at the different forms of the verb and how to use them in sentences.
The verb "be" is used to describe a state or condition. In Abkhazian, it is conjugated differently depending on the subject of the sentence. The verb "be" is conjugated as follows:

Let's look at some examples of how to use the verb "be" in sentences.
- Person 1: Ашьар аба? (Ah-shar ah-bah?) (Am I?)
- Person 2: Ашьары. (Ah-shar-ee.) (You are.)
- Person 1: Ашьара ала? (Ah-shar-ah ah-lah?) (Is he/she/it?)
- Person 2: Ашьара. (Ah-shar-ah.) (He/she/it is.)
- Person 1: Ашьаран ама? (Ah-shar-an ah-mah?) (Are we?)
- Person 2: Ашьаран. (Ah-shar-an.) (We are.)
- Person 1: Ашьарын ала? (Ah-shar-een ah-lah?) (Are you (plural)?)
- Person 2: Ашьарын. (Ah-shar-een.) (You (plural) are.)
- Person 1: Ашьаран аба? (Ah-shar-an ah-bah?) (Are they?)
- Person 2: Ашьаран. (Ah-shar-an.) (They are.)
