Hi Iranian Persian learners! 😃

In today's lesson, you will learn how to say the months of the year in Persian and how to use the Persian calendar.

Persian Calendar

Iranians use "Hejri-e shamsi" calendar. Sometimes we call it "Jalali" calendar.

  • Calendar : Taghvim = تقویم
  • Jalali = جلالی

The year is 4 season for us.

  4. Autumn: Paeiz = پائیز
  5. Winter: Zemestaan = زمستان
