Iranians use "Hejri-e shamsi" calendar. Sometimes we call it "Jalali" calendar.
In today's lesson, you will learn how to say the months of the year in Persian and how to use the Persian calendar.
 
* Calendar : Taghvim = تقویم
 
* Jalali = جلالی

The first month of the year in Hejri-e Shamsi is "Farvardin" and the latest is "Esfand".
 
 
As you will see, we have 12 months. First 6 months have 31 days and second 6 months have 30 days. The year is 4 season for us.  
 
# Season: Fasl = فصل
# Spring: Bahaar = بهار
# Summer: Taabestaan = تابستان
# Autumn: Paeiz = پائیز
# Winter: Zemestaan = زمستان

And at the end, here we have the list of months:
