Cultural Tidbit[edit | edit source]
Did you know that the Yoruba people have numerous cultural festivals where expressions of surprise are common? One of the most popular festivals is the Osun-Osogbo Festival which takes place in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. During the festival, people dress in colorful attire and dance, sing, and play music as they parade through the streets. Expressions of surprise, astonishment, and joy are commonly heard during the festivities.
To experience more of these cultural festivals, you can visit Nigeria and explore the many traditional ceremonies and celebrations that take place there.
