Here's a dialogue to help you understand how to use the vocabulary in context:

  • Person 1: Heb je dat gezien? (Did you see that?)
  • Person 2: Wat goed! (How good!)
  • Person 1: Ja, het is ongelooflijk! (Yes, it's unbelievable!)
  • Person 2: Wat een verrassing! (What a surprise!)
  • Person 1: En het wordt nog beter, kijk maar! (And it gets even better, just look!)
  • Person 2: Nee, dat kan niet! (No, that cannot be!)
  • Person 1: Echt waar! (Really!)

- Western Frisian is a language spoken in the province of Friesland in the Netherlands. - It is the second official language of the Netherlands, besides Dutch. - Western Frisian has many dialects, and the dialect spoken in Leeuwarden is considered as 'standard Frisian'. - The Frisian Flag is an official flag of the province of Friesland. It features seven blue water lily leaves on a yellow field and is considered one of the oldest symbols in the Netherlands.
