What is the Conditional Mood?[edit | edit source]

The conditional mood is used to express a hypothetical situation or a condition that must be fulfilled in order for something else to happen. It is often used to express wishes, requests, and suggestions.

How to Form the Conditional Mood[edit | edit source]

The conditional mood is formed by using the verb "sẽ" (will) followed by the verb stem. The verb stem is the part of the verb that remains after removing the ending. For example, the verb stem of "đi" (to go) is "đi".
