ROYAL ANTHEM – Thai Culture

Another anthem which is a good idea to learn is the royal anthem, in Thai it is called “เพลง สรรเสรญพระบารม” [pleng san seen pra baa ra mii]. It is played in the cinema before every movie starts. When this song is played you ought to stand up in order to show respect to the father of Thailand, his majesty the king and the rest of the royal family. I assure you, that when this anthem is played, and you know the lyrics, it will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Again, play the song from YouTube while you study these lyrics:
