A drink is a beverage meant for human consumption. There are many different types of drinks available all over the world. Here are some of the types of drinks in Swati:

Alcoholic Drinks[edit | edit source]

Alcoholic drinks are consumed by adults for the purpose of enjoyment.

Non-Alcoholic Drinks[edit | edit source]

Non-alcoholic drinks are consumed irrespective of age and are enjoyed for different reasons like taste or health.

In Swaziland and South Africa, people brew umcombotsi beer, a traditional beer made from maize, sorghum, or millet.

In Swati culture, it is customary to offer guests a beverage on their arrival. The most common drinks served on these occasions are water and juice.
