The conditional mood is formed by adding the suffix -na to the verb stem. For example, the verb "mangga" (to eat) becomes "manggana" in the conditional mood.

- Manggana teh - I would eat
- Manggana ku anjeun - You would eat
- Manggana kami - We would eat

- Manggana teh bisi nyieun kue - I would eat if I could make a cake
- Manggana teh bisi nyaho - I would eat if I had money
- Manggana teh bisa nyaho - I wish I had money
Exceptions[edit | edit source]
There are some exceptions to the rule of adding the suffix -na to the verb stem. For example, the verb "ngaharep" (to hope) does not take the suffix -na. Instead, it takes the suffix -an.

- Ngaharepan teh - I would hope
- Ngaharepan ku anjeun - You would hope
- Ngaharepan kami - We would hope
