Interesting facts[edit | edit source]

- Education is highly valued in Morocco. Students attend school from the age of 6 and complete their primary education at the age of 12. They then move on to secondary school, which is divided into two parts: college and high school. - Morocco was one of the first countries in Africa to introduce a university educational system. The oldest one is the University of al-Qarawiyyin, which was founded in Fez in 859 AD. - Tamazight became an official language in Morocco in 2011. Now, it is taught in schools, and you can study it as a degree.
