Grapes are a fruit that has been cultivated for thousands of years. The varieties are endless, but here are some of the most popular in Southern Kurdistan.

Did you know that grapes are a type of berry? However, unlike most berries, grapes are grown in clusters.

- Person 1: ئایا زەنچی یان خوشک دەگرێتی؟ (Do you like Thompson Seedless or Raisins?)
- Person 2: یانزە لە هەموویان ئامادەیە، بەڵام زەنچی بەمرۆژە زۆر بەکار بەردەستە. (I like both of them, but Thompson Seedless is more commonly used in everyday life.)

Citrus fruits are known for their refreshing taste and various uses in the kitchen. In Southern Kurdistan, they are very popular and can be seen in most markets.

- Person 2: دیکەیەکی بۆخۆشی دەدات، زۆر شت شەروتییە. (There is a nice little island, it's very close to the shore.)
