- Transliteration: Puchra'n na munjhra'n
پگهر بنا پيسو نہ ملي (No sweet without sweat)[edit | edit source]
- Transliteration: Paghar bina paiso na miley.
ڏکن پٺيان سک؛ سکن پٺيان ڏک (sadness and gladness succeed each other)[edit | edit source]
- Transliteration: Dukhan puthyan sukh, sukhan puthyan dukh.
رُڪ جا چڻا آنڊا چيرين (He who eats king's goose shall be chocked with feathers)[edit | edit source]

- Transliteration: Jeko daadho so gaabo

- Transliteration: Sahab je man mein hikri banday je mann mein bee.
کاڌي خرار کٽيو وڃن (Treasures end when spending/ he who runs fasts will not run longer)[edit | edit source]
- Transliteration: Khaadhey kharar khutyo wanjan.
اھو سون ئي گھوريو، جيڪو ڪن ڇني (Wealth doesn't automatically bring happiness)[edit | edit source]
- Transliteration: Uho son ee ghoryo jeko kan'a chiney.
قرض وڏو مرض آهي (Debt is a curse)[edit | edit source]
- Transliteration: Qarz wado marz aahey.
انسان ڪڏهن ڀريء ۾ آهي, تہ ڪڏهن ڀاڪر ۾ (Sometimes one is in joys and sometimes in sorrows/ change of fortune is the lot of life)[edit | edit source]
