Sango Vocabulary - Feelings and Emotions

In this lesson, we are going to learn about feelings and emotions in Sango. Being able to express and understand emotions in any language is essential to effective communication. Basic emotions[edit | edit source]

In Sango, basic emotions are expressed using simple and straightforward words. These words are frequently used in daily life.

Emotions are complex and we can experience and express them in many ways. In Sango, there are words that express more nuanced emotions. Here are some examples:

  • Person 1: Je vais rencontrer un ami que je n'ai pas vu depuis longtemps. (I am going to meet a friend I haven't seen in a long time.)

Idiomatic expressions are phrases that have a meaning different from the literal meaning of the words. In Sango, idiomatic expressions related to feelings and emotions are commonly used.
