In order to give your opinion in Sanaani Arabic, we typically use the following verb constructions: يتوقع (yitwaʔa), يحس (yahs), يعتقد (yaʕtaqid), and يرى (yara).

- ممكن، ولكن صعب (mumkin, walakin Saʕb) - Possible, but difficult.
- مستحيل، انا لا اؤمن بذلك (mustaHiil, ʔanaa laa 'u'min bibaZaalik) - Impossible, I don't believe that.
Let's take a look at a dialogue between two friends expressing their opinions on a new movie:
- Person 1: شفت الفيلم الجديد؟ حلو ولا لا؟ (Shuft alfelm aljadeed? Hilw walla laa?) - Did you see the new movie? Is it good or not?
- Person 2: يتوقع انه حلو، بس انا ما شفته بعد (Yitwaʔa ʔinne Hilw, bs ʔanaa maa shuftu baʕd) - I expect that it's good, but I haven't seen it yet.
- Person 1: انا شفته، وانا معجب فيه (ʔanaa shuiftu, waʔanaa maʕjab fiih) - I've seen it, and I like it.
- Person 2: ممكن، بس انا مش عارف ليش كل الناس زعلانين منه (Mumkin, bs ʔanaa mish ʕaarif lyysh killnnaas zaʕlaaniin mnnh) - That's possible, but I don't know why everyone is upset about it.
- Person 1: لا، انا اتوقع انه القصة مش واضحة (Laa, ʔanaa ʔitwaʔa ʔanneh alqaSSah mish waadhiHah) - No, I expect that the story isn't clear.
