Political Divisions of Iran: The 31 Provinces

Iran is administratively divided into 31 sections, each known as a province or "Ostaan" (in Farsi: استان). These provinces are further divided into counties, districts, and sub-districts, serving as the primary units of Iran's governmental organization.
