Mandarin Chinese Vocabulary - Feelings and Emotions

Mandarin Chinese is a complex language especially when it comes to expressing feelings and emotions. In today's lesson, you'll find the main words and examples of use.

A: 你好 (nǐ hǎo) - Hello

B: 我很开心 (wǒ hěn kāi xīn) - I am very happy

A: 真的吗? (zhēn de ma?) - Really?

B: 是的 (shì de) - Yes

A: 你一直很开心吗?(nǐ yī zhí hěn kāi xīn ma?) - Have you always been happy?

B: 不,有时候我会很难过 (bù, yǒu shí hou wǒ huì hěn nán guò) - No, sometimes I can be sad

A: 可是现在你很开心? (kě shì xiàn zài nǐ hěn kāi xīn?) - But you are happy now?

B: 是的 (shì de) - Yes
