Orthography in Georgian: The words ending at “—ს”, “—მ”, “—ზ” and “—შ”

Words ending at “-ს”

Words ending at “-ს” have two “ს”-s in dative of singular forms: თბილისს.

Words ending at “-მ”

Words ending at “-მ” have two “მ”-s in ergative of singular forms: ქათამმა.

Words ending at “-ზ”

Words ending at “-ზ” have two “ზ”-s after adding the postposition “-ზე” (“on”) only in singular forms: კოვზზე.

The words ending at “-შ”

The words ending at “-შ” have two “შ”-s after adding the postposition “-ში” (“in”) in singular forms: თამაშში (“in a game”).
