In this lesson, we will learn the most important Cebuano words related to clothes. We will learn how to say different types of clothing items in Cebuano.

Clothing Items[edit | edit source]

Here is a list of some of the most common clothing items in Cebuano:

Cebuano Pronunciation English Translation
damit da-mit clothes
sapatos sa-pa-tos shoes
pantalon pan-ta-lon pants
suot su-ot wear
sapin sa-pin shirt

We can use these words to talk about what we are wearing. For example:

  • Ako nagsuot og sapin. - I am wearing a shirt.
  • Ako nagsuot og pantalon. - I am wearing pants.

We can also use these words to talk about what other people are wearing. For example:

  • Siya nagsuot og sapin. - He is wearing a shirt.
  • Siya nagsuot og pantalon. - She is wearing pants.
