Bhojpuri is an Indo-Aryan language spoken predominantly in the Indian states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand, as well as in Nepal. Learning the days of the week is an essential part of building a strong foundation in any language, including Bhojpuri. Examples of Usage[edit | edit source]

a. मैं इतवार के दिन घर पर आराम करत हुँ। (Maẏ itvār ke din ghar par ārām karat hun.) Translation: I rest at home on Sundays.

b. सोमवार से शुक्रवार तक काम करैत छी। (Sōmvār se śukrvār tak kām karait chī.) Translation: I work from Monday to Friday.

c. हम शनिवार के दिन बाजार जाएत छी। (Ham śanivār ke din bājār jāẏet chī.) Translation: We go to the market on Saturdays.
