Here is a simple dialogue in Oriental Armenian using some vocabulary related to colors:

Person 1: Բարև Ձեզ, թե ինչպե՞ս եք: (Barev Zez, tche inchpes ek?) (Hello, how are you?)
Person 2: Բարև, ես լավ եմ, բոլորին համար: (Barev, es lav em, bolorin hamar.) (Hello, I'm fine, for everyone.)
Person 1: Չէ՞ դուք նաեւ արդեն նշանակում էք թե որ գույներ ցանկանում եք օգտագործել: (Che? duk nave ardzen nshanakum ek tche vor guynere tsankanum ek ogtagorcel?) (Don't you already know which colors you want to use?)
Person 2: Երբեք, թե գույներն եմ նշանակում, բայց չեմ համոզված: (Erbek, tche guynerem nshanakum, bayts chem hamozvatz.) (Yes, I have already chosen the colors, but I'm not sure.)
Person 1: Մենք կարող ենք նաև տեսնել թե որ գույներ եք նշանակում: (Mek karo enk nave tesnel tche vor guynerek nshanakum.) (We can also see which colors you have chosen.)
