It is the state fruit of Kerala. - Pineapple is native to Brazil and Paraguay, but it got its name because it looked similar to pine cones. - Watermelon is not just a fruit, but also a vegetable related to cucumbers, pumpkins, and squash. - Bananas grow on plants that are officially considered a type of herb, and the banana itself is technically a berry! It is widely grown in southern India.
