🤷‍♂️🌎Who should attend?
This meetup is for language learners who want to practice speaking with native speakers and exchange tips with other learners. All languages and levels are welcome!

🤷‍♂️🗣How does it work?
When you arrive, look for one of our organizers who will help you make a personalized nametag and find a seat. We have several tables based on attendance, each table dedicated to English plus another language. Some popular tables include Spanish, Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Korean, and Russian. We often have tables for Italian and Portuguese, and occasionally for Hebrew and Arabic. If your language is not mentioned, we also have a "General/Mix table" where you can meet people with similar language interests. Make sure to inform the organizers of all the languages you speak/practice, so we can assist you in finding the right practice partners or set up a table specifically for you. Commenting below with your languages significantly increases the chances of finding suitable practice partners at the event.

During the event, aim to spend half of your time practicing your target language and the other half helping others with their language learning journey.

🤷‍♂️📌Where is the event located?
The event will take place at 590 Madison Ave, a public indoor atrium with seating. Please refer to this Google map link for directions. Please note that any decision to move the event location will be made on the morning of the event. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below.

*Please note that a suggested contribution of $1+ from all attendees is appreciated. You can contribute in cash, through Venmo (@langroops), or make a pledge on this event page. Your contributions help us organize more enjoyable language learning events in the future!

🥤We will have bottled water available at the entrance for $1. Simply drop it in the box.

🚫We kindly request that participants avoid discussions about political and religious topics, as well as any kind of solicitation during our events. This is not a dating event, so please refrain from any interactions that may make other attendees uncomfortable. If you encounter any inappropriate behavior, please approach one of our organizers, and we will address the situation.

📷*Occasionally, we take pictures at our events for memories and social media purposes. We will try to notify you beforehand.

🌎If you are unable to attend this event, you can also explore our online events at www.langroops.com.
