🤷‍♂️🌎Who should attend?
This meetup is perfect for language learners who want to practice speaking with native speakers and gain insights from fellow learners. All language levels and backgrounds are welcome!

🤷‍♂️🗣How does it work?
Upon arrival, please find one of our organizers who will assist you in creating a nametag and finding a seat.

We will have multiple tables dedicated to specific languages, including English + another language. Our popular tables include Spanish, Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Korean, and Russian. We also have tables for Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew, and Arabic on occasion. If your language is not mentioned, we have a "General/Mix table" where you can connect with like-minded individuals. Make sure to inform the organizers of all the languages you speak/practice to ensure we can accommodate your needs. Commenting below with your language skills will greatly increase your chances of finding practice partners during the event!

During the event, aim to spend half of your time practicing and the other half assisting others.

🤷‍♂️📌Where will it take place?
Join us at 590 Madison Ave, a public indoor atrium with ample seating. Check out the Google map for directions. Please note that any decision to change the event location will be made on the morning of the event.

*We occasionally take pictures at our events for memories and social media - we will try to notify you beforehand.

💵 We suggest a contribution of $1 or more from each attendee. You can pay in cash, via Venmo (@langroops), or pledge your contribution from this event page. Your contributions help us continue organizing fun language learning events!

🥤 Bottled water is usually available at the entrance for $1. Just drop it in the box.

🚫 We kindly request that participants avoid discussing political and religious topics and refrain from any form of solicitation during our events. Also, please be mindful that this is not a dating event. If you encounter any inappropriate behavior, please approach one of the organizers so we can address it.
