Langroops NYC BROOKLYN 🗣 Language Exchange (Sunday), Sun, Dec 3, 2023, 3:00 PM

Are you looking to practice a new language or help others practice? Join us for the Langroops NYC BROOKLYN Language Exchange event! Whether you want to practice English, Spanish, French, Chinese, or any other language, all are welcome!

To join this event, please RSVP on Meetup and comment with the languages you are coming to speak and practice.

Stay in touch with us on social media:

Who is this meetup for? Anyone who is learning a language and wants to practice speaking with native speakers and get tips from other learners. All languages and levels are welcome!

How it works: Look for an organizer when you arrive, and we'll help you make a nametag and get seated. We usually gather around 1-3 tables based on the languages people want to practice. You have a higher chance of practicing the language you want if you comment with it.

During the event, spend half the time practicing and the other half helping others. Remember, this event is FREE, but we accept contributions via Venmo (@langroops) to support future language learning events.

Please refrain from discussing political and religious topics or engaging in any kind of solicitation. This is not a dating event, so respect others' boundaries and report any inappropriate behavior to the organizers.

We may take pictures at the event for memories and social media. If you can't make it to this event, check out our online events at www.langroops.com.

Who are we? Langroops is a hub of volunteer-led language exchange communities that organize weekly free events for various languages. We provide a safe place for sincere language learners to practice with native speakers.

  • Can I move between tables? Of course! If you are practicing multiple languages, you can move between tables as you wish. Just make sure to help others with your native language as well.
  • Where is the English table? Every table is an English table! Simply go to the table with the sign for your native language and meet English speakers learning your language to practice with.
  • Is there a specific language table? Tables are based on attendance, and we try to connect people with shared language interests. If you want to open a table for a specific language, comment below and arrive on time.
