🤷‍♂️🌎Who is this meetup for?
This meetup is for language enthusiasts who want to practice speaking with native speakers and learn from other language learners!
All languages and proficiency levels are welcome!

🤷‍♂️🗣How it works:
Upon arrival, look for one of our organizers who will help you create a nametag and find a seat :)

We will have multiple tables based on attendance, each dedicated to English and another language.
Our popular tables include Spanish, Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Korean, and Russian.
We usually have tables for Italian and Portuguese, and occasionally for Hebrew and Arabic.
If your language of interest is not mentioned above, don't worry! We also have a "General/Mix table" where you can connect with others who share your language interests.
Please let the organizers know which languages you speak/practice when you arrive so we can assist you in finding the right people or setting up a table for you.
Commenting below with the languages you speak/practice significantly increases the chances of finding practice partners at the event!

We encourage you to spend roughly equal time practicing and helping others ✌

🤷‍♂️📌Where?
We will be meeting at 590 Madison Ave, a public indoor atrium with seating. This is our Winter location.
For directions, please refer to this Google Maps link.

*Any decision to change the event location will be made on the morning of the event.*
If you have any questions, please leave a comment below!

💵 Suggested contribution $1+ from all attendees (Cash or Venmo @langroops or Pledge from this event page).
Your contributions allow us to continue organizing other enjoyable language learning events!

🥤We usually offer bottled water at the entrance ($1, just drop it in the box).

🚫We kindly ask participants to refrain from discussing political and religious topics and from engaging in any form of solicitation at our events.
🙅‍♂️This is not a dating event, so please avoid any behavior that may make other attendees feel uncomfortable. If you encounter any inappropriate behavior, please notify one of the organizers so we can address it.

📷*We occasionally take pictures at our events for memories and social media. We will try to notify you beforehand.
