🤷‍♂️🌎Who is this meetup for?
This meetup is for language learners who are looking to practice speaking with native speakers and gain insights from fellow learners. All language levels and languages are welcome!

🤷‍♂️🗣How it works:
When you arrive, please find an organizer who will assist you in creating a nametag and finding a seat :)

We will have multiple tables based on attendance, each dedicated to English plus another language. Our popular tables include Spanish, Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Korean, and Russian. We usually have tables for Italian and Portuguese, and occasionally for Hebrew and Arabic. If your language is not mentioned above, we will also have a "General/Mix table" where you can connect with like-minded individuals. Please inform the organizers of all the languages you speak/practice upon arrival, so we can help you find the suitable people or set up a table for you. Commenting below with the languages you speak/practice significantly increases the chances of finding practice partners at the event!

You are encouraged to spend about half of your time practicing and the other half helping others ✌

🤷‍♂️📌Where?
Due to thunderstorm forecast, today's event will take place at 550 Madison Ave, a public outdoor space with a roof. Google map link: https://goo.gl/maps/LLCVAsyLB8soLbnq9

💵 Suggested contribution $1+ from all attendees (Cash or Venmo @langroops or Pledge from this event page). Your contributions allow us to continue organizing more enjoyable language learning events!

🥤We usually offer bottled water at the entrance ($1, just drop it in the box).

🚫We kindly ask participants to avoid discussions about political and religious topics and any form of solicitation at our events. 🙅‍♂️This is not a dating event, so please refrain from engaging in behavior that may make other attendees feel uncomfortable. If you encounter any inappropriate behavior, please approach one of the organizers so that we can address it.

📷*We occasionally take pictures at our events for memories and social media purposes - we will try to notify you beforehand
