Join us at Revolution Brewing on Kedzie for an exciting gathering called the Chicago Language Cafe. Immerse yourself in the language you're learning or already know, and make new friends along the way. We'll have dedicated tables for various languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Italian, and ASL. Feel free to switch tables if you're multilingual!

If you're interested in other languages, let us know in the comments. We provide flags that you can borrow to signify languages without designated tables. This way, you can connect with others who share the same learning/teaching goals!

Please respect the language of each table. While it's okay to clarify things in English, try to avoid lengthy conversations in English at non-English tables. The event's spirit encourages immersion in different languages, except at the English table.

If you don't speak any other languages but still want to participate, you can help others improve their English! Non-native English speakers appreciate having native speakers assist them in practicing the language.
