Interestingly, the months of March/April and September/October are statistically the best times for aurora sightings due to heightened geomagnetic activity. However, if you keep your eyes on the sky, you can witness these luminous displays throughout October to February.

In Alaska, the skies are dark enough to enjoy the Northern Lights from August through April.
