Join us at Zorba's Cafe every Thursday evening! We will gather on the second floor, or if the weather permits, we may enjoy the fresh air at a street-side table. If you arrive and don't find anyone on the second floor, just look for us outside!

Dear group members! For those who have yet to attend our meetups, please note that fewer people usually sign up than actually show up. Our regulars have gotten used to just dropping in any time between 5:30 PM and 8 PM without prior notice. So feel free to come along!

Conveniently located near the Dupont Circle Metro station, this spot has been our Thursday evening gathering place for many years prior to 2015.

Everyone is invited to join, but we kindly ask that conversations remain in Russian. For many participants, this is an excellent opportunity to practice their Russian language skills. Enjoy happy hour pricing while you’re there!

Timing: While someone usually arrives by 5:30 PM, our organizers might not be there until around 5:45 PM. If you arrive first, please be patient; we will definitely show up! Most attendees stay until at least 8 PM, so if you're running late, that's completely fine!

RSVP: While we encourage you to RSVP, many participants often skip this step. Therefore, it might look like only a few people are planning to attend, but rest assured, we typically have a lively group! Newcomers are always welcome, so if it’s your first time, you likely won’t be alone!

When the weather is nice, we frequently sit outside. If you don't see anyone on the second floor, just look for a group speaking Russian at the tables on the street.

To reiterate, we often have only a handful of RSVPs but end up with a crowd of 15 or more. So don’t let the numbers discourage you!
