Join us for an engaging in-person Japanese language table event at the Howard County Library's Miller Branch!

• Activities Overview
At the World Language Cafe organized by the Columbia Association, we invite you to enjoy tea and delightful conversations at our Japanese Table. This event will also feature tables dedicated to various other languages. Thanks to the Columbia Association, this monthly gathering allows us to immerse ourselves in discussions about Japanese culture, cuisine, and other exciting topics in both Japanese and English.

• What to Bring
Feel free to bring along any topics you’d like to discuss, as well as Japanese books or study materials. You are also welcome to share some delicious Japanese snacks or beverages with the group.

• Important Information
While priority will be given to those looking to practice their Japanese, we also encourage conversations about Japanese culture and food in English. The World Language Cafe attracts a diverse crowd, so let's make the most of our time together by communicating in Japanese whenever possible. You’ll have the opportunity to meet others who are eager to practice their Japanese language skills as well!
